Welcome to the 7th Annual London Metropolitan University Student Business Plan Competition, which offers a lucrative £5000 top prize to the best idea of 2009/10.  The competition is open to all students from London Met and entrants are provided with a programme of support and training from industry experts.  The process will develop your business skills, extend your entrepreneurial knowledge, whilst helping you to create a commercially viable business plan.

The Business Plan Competition entails a two step process.  Firstly you have to enter a business concept and then six finalists will be chosen to write a full business plan and are then given the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of entrepreneurs.

Previous Winner First prize of the 2008/09 London Metropolitan University Student Business Plan Competition was awarded to Jessica Elliott for 'Dancing After School', a unique dance business, providing dance workshops and clubs, within primary education establishments.  The business is now up and running and is destined for future success. Her prize was £2500 cash and £2500 of support from Accelerator.  The remaining five entrants were awarded cash prizes. 'It was an amazing feeling to win the business plan competition.  The training has been extremely useful and it really helped me to formulate my business idea.' Jessica Elliott   (2008/9 winner)
