ASD launch Live Projects exhibition
3rd December 2008
On 19 November the Department of Architecture and Spatial Design (ASD) had a private viewing of the latest ASD exhibition entitled ‘Live Projects’.
The show, which runs until 19 December, features a selection of current research and live projects by staff and students from the department. The projects displayed range from local community projects to larger scale international planning schemes, exhibiting the full-range of ASD’s diverse work.
A highlight of the exhibition’s opening night was the Alumni Lecture given by London Metropolitan University alumnus Steve McAdam. Steve is the Founder and Director of Fluid Design Limited, a multi-disciplinary practice specialising in architecture and urban design. He is an acclaimed architect and drew from his many years of experience working in urban regeneration, masterplanning and consultation across the country to give a stirring and informative talk.
His speech followed talks by ASD Head of Department Professor Robert Mull and Professor Florian Beigel of the Architecture Research Unit.
