LMBS works the catwalk for charity -

London Metropolitan Business School was flooded with a riot of colour, fabric and dance recently when it held a fashion and dance show in aid of local charity Cricket 4 Change (C4C). The show was staged in front of a packed audience at London Met’s award-winning Rocket complex.

ARU launches Saemangeum Island City exhibition -

The Saemangeum sea wall on the south-west coast of Korea is the longest in the world, encompassing a freshwater lake of more than 400 sq km. In January 2008, seven international design research teams were tasked with designing a new global city to be built on the site’s reclaimed land.

Cass student wins upholstery design competition -

Judith Dennis, an upholstery student at The Cass (The Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design) was the winner of a competition to find a unique upholstery design for furniture manufacturer Bevan Funnell. Her winning design was used on a new chair range launched by the company at the annual Decorex exhibition.
