Soul searching in seven days

19th May 2009

Aspiring writer Terence Endeley has had his first novel published after penning the story in only seven days.

BA Health Studies and Social Policy student Terence was inspired to write the book as his studies revealed lives that had been destroyed by the capital’s proliferation of drugs problems.

An Enemy of My Own Soul and Happiness is about Peter, who sells his soul to the devil as a baby. He then spends much of his life trying and failing to buy his soul back, following a path of pain and self-destruction.

Terrence commented that it was his passion for the subject that enabled him to complete the novel so quickly: ‘I think with enough passion you could rule the world in seven days. But it wasn’t easy, I had to come up with the ideas at the same speed as I was writing’ .

Terence is currently working on his second novel Perfect Mum about a mother fighting to keep her family safe. He also hopes to venture into poetry and further works concerning heath issues.

An Enemy of My Own Soul and Happiness will be published by AuthorHouse and is due out in June.
