Hatchery
A space to grow
Student Enterprise has developed a work space in the Accelerator to house student and graduate businesses called the Hatchery. The Hatchery stimulates innovation and enterprise by supporting young entrepreneurs to develop an idea and kick-start a business.
The Hatchery is part of our start up programme along with start up grants and business advice. Places on the programme are open to all students and those who have graduated in the last five years. Only a limited number of places are available. Places are granted based on the viability of the business idea and the passion demonstrated to make it happen.
If you want to take advantage of this support, the first step is to come along to one of our start up seminars listed below.

These free seminars will explain more about the start up programme and how to apply. They will also provide the opportunity to:
- Discover what's involved in setting up a business
- Meet students and graduates who have set up their own businesses
- Tour the Accelerator business incubator
- Discuss your business idea with the Accelerator team
