Got an idea? Need financial support?

We can provide financial assistance to students and graduates of London Metropolitan University, to help establish the feasibility of their business ideas.  We can support the early stage development of projects that show commercial potential with start up grants, which can be as much as £2000, with the average grant being £1400.  As well as these grants, we have extensive knowledge of other funding opportunities.

Start up grants are part of our start up programme along with the Hatchery and business advice.  Places on the programme are open to all students and those who have graduated in the last five years.  Only a limited number of places are available.  Places are granted based on the viability of the business idea and the passion demonstrated to make it happen.

If you want to take advantage of this support, the first step is to come along to one of our start up seminars listed below.

To sign up for the initial seminar complete the following registration form and email to studententerprise@londonmet.ac.uk
