Experience

In the past I have worked for a number of companies which include: Philips, Cambridge, UK, as a research and development engineer specialising in broadcast communication systems; Filtronic Components Ltd., as a design & development engineer of future products. I have undertaken consultancy work for international companies such as Alpha Industries, USA in the development of dielectric resonator stabilised oscillators and dielectric filters for application in wireless systems. I have developed and ran bespoke short-courses, e.g. on Microwave Antennas & Measurement for PSION Computers. I have taught at University of Leeds, Leeds Metropolitan University and for the Open University. I have co-chaired at international conferences and been a program committee member as well as reviewer of peer review papers. I am/have supervised and examined research PhD students. In addition, I lead the Microwave Research Group and am the Director of London Metropolitan University Microwaves.

M.Phil. in Electronics & Communications Engineering
Ph.D. in Electronics & Communications Engineering.
