Bio
Dr Henning Meyer heads the European Programme of the Global Policy Institute at London Metropolitan University. The European Programme promotes analysis and debate of the politics and economics of the European Union, its member countries, Britain's relationship to them and its place in the world. It conducts innovative research aimed at the academic and the wider political communities.
Experience
Areas of Expertise: European Integration, Globalisation, European Social Model, Social and Economic Policy, Transatlantic Economic Relations, German Politics, British Politics Dr Meyer has extensive experience in research and publishing (see personal website for further details). He has also been a consultant on policy development for public bodies such as the European Economic and Social Comittee and the European Commission. Dr Meyer is a frequent participant and contributor to international conferences and fora, especially on issues related to economic and social policies in the age of Globalisation.
